Wormholes and parallel universes

Wormholes are warps in the fabric of space-time that connect one place to another. If you imagine the universe as a two-dimensional sheet, you can picture a wormhole as a "throat" connecting our sheet to another one. In this scenario, the other sheet could be a universe of its own, with its own stars, galaxies and planets.

Damour and Solodukhin studied what such a wormhole might look like, and were surprised to discover that it would mimic a black hole so well that it would be virtually impossible to tell the difference.

Matter would swirl around a wormhole in the same way as for a black hole, since both objects distort the space around them in the same way.

Another difference one might hope to exploit is that unlike black holes, wormholes have no event horizon. This means that things could go in a wormhole and come back out again. In fact, theorists say one variety of wormhole wraps back onto itself, so that it leads not to another universe, but back to its own entrance.

It seems the only way to decide the issue for sure with astronomical black holes is to make a daring plunge inside. That would be a dangerous gamble, because if it is a black hole, the incredibly strong gravitational field inside would tear apart every atom in your body. Even if it turns out to be a wormhole, the forces inside could still be deadly.

Assuming you could survive, and the wormhole was not symmetric, you might find yourself in another universe on the other side. Without further intervention, the wormhole would tend to suck you back in and carry you back to the opening in your universe.

So, the question is: are we living in a wormhole now and just unaware of it or can we by the very use of our mind or set of choices we make, move our lives through a wormhole into a slightly different reality?
Hm, is this the same woman who went to Paris last year? Nah! I crossed over into a wormhole and returned in a parallel universe laced with a new set of circumstances and possibilities and have become proficient at jumping between different realities depending on the choices I make and the fulness of life I lead.

Hi There,

Thanks for your interesting comment on my Fundamental Premise. Probably, for most people, happiness is out of the question. However, a mother watching her child starve to death might be miserable indeed even though she knew people living close by were happy. I suppose you have found true happiness even though it's a sad world. Do you know MacHeath's remarks on the scaffold? "Be not so quick to criticize injustice for evil's death is sure but slow. Remember all the darkness and the coldness; the world's a vale of misery and woe."

It's all about "perception",
whether I 'perceive' the world in the same way that you 'perceive' the world.
I may actually 'perceive' it the same way as you but then I "choose" to RESPOND in a different manner.
It is about choice and response.
As Ghandi said:
"be the change you want to see"
Hotep (peace) to you Tom.

Fantastic Dawning One, keep on jumping them realaties for what is life made of than constant movement! Bugger 'the vale of misery and woe'... build a bridge and get over it I say to those whom so wish to do. The secret is to move out of THAT hole as we have to do otherwise we are stuck in it for goodness knows till when. Life is rich tapestry with ALL the experiences and none are wrong, they are only just that, experiences and it is up to us how we percieve them, handle them and react to them. It is our choice and I salute you for going for the movement with spunk and excitment. If something does not agree and resonate we can move the heck out of there and go to a place that does so. It ain't being given on a silverspoon ( I presonally would get bored if I was spoonfed ), but it is a free will choice if we jump and change our realaties and to what we change that to is up to us.

Wormholes and blackholes are just part of the natural Universe and are there for a reason which ofcourse we really don't know as yet as our 5% of brain usage won't allow us to know. We will eventually as we open up more and more not just in our physical capacity of our brain, but also in our hearts. Science with the heart is the way ahead of us. So keep jumping them holes and have fun... 'tis, but life.

Life & fire

Life & fire
is this the Dawning One?

Hello there traveller

Welcome to the mind and reality of a new and changing world.

What do you aspire to be and do in the new reality that is being created as you read?

Will you try to hang on to the old ways that are soon to be erased or will you step into the void and create a new reality ripe with the promise of fulfilment of a thousand golden years?

The choice is yours and yours alone...
Choose wisely.
